Welcome to my blog, where I intend to share how-tos, reviews, and other articles on a variety of topics such as cooking, crafts, gardening, fishing, camping, pets, birding, preparedness and survival, women’s health issues, beauty, style and much more.

I was born and raised in the shadow of the Rockies, where I started volunteering in search and rescue before I had my driver’s license. I worked as a 911 Dispatcher, OB-GYN Medical Assistant and EMT before moving to the Gulf Coast with my fiance, who is a firefighter. Currently, I’m babysitting, making our new house a home, and enjoying the coast as I complete my education in nursing.

I started this blog to share my lifelong passion for the outdoors, and the little pearls of wisdom I’ve picked up over the years working hard in public health and safety, and playing hard outside. I hope you’ll stick along for the ride and share your own knowledge and passions!
